My favorite place with my favorite people
This coming weekend, I'll be in my favorite place with my favorite people and you're invited to join us: Connect & Create: Holiday Edition!
My soul sisters Laura Rose Schwartz and Hope Hurlbrink of Vikriya Lab have once again opened their doors for one of my signature Connect & Create events in Alexandria. This time, the vendor line-up and experiences offered are extra special.
First, my Instagram friend Joanna of Layers Of Earth will finally become an In-Real-Life friend. She's traveling all the way from Baltimore with her incredible designs. She's a jeweler and artist and will be toting with her prints, original pieces and one-of-a-kind jewelry. If you've been in my home, you've seen her artwork. And I'll soon be adding a custom piece to my office! For literally years, I've felt a connection to Joanna through her work and her words. I can't wait to finally get the chance to meet her!
Second, if you follow me personally on social media then you may have seen the incredible arrangement Jessie of Crafted Stems Design Co. made for me for Thanksgiving. It was mind-blowing; her talent is remarkable. Jessie will be offering a mini workshop during our event, teaching our guests how to make dried flower wreaths starting at just $15. P.S. These make AWESOME hostess gifts.
Makeup artist and clean living advocate Modern Green Goddess by Ky Washington will join us with her holiday collection (I've already stocked up!) and will offer free five minute flawless face makeovers!
New friend and knitwear queen Knits By Naima will be there along with my close friend and jewelry designer Ruth Barzel. Hope Hurlbrink will set up her selection of essential oils and crystals and is prepared to drop some serious knowledge on all things holistic. (Plus, word on the street is that she'll have munchies on hand that she made using her oils along with recipes to take home!) Shop with each of them for handmade gifts for (nearly) everyone on your list.
And finally, yes, I'll be there with the entire Threads by Nomad collection. We'll have festive drinks, and a free gift wrapping station, too. This is going to be good one, folks. My heart is fuller just thinking about it! Saturday & Sunday. Hope to see you there!
