Three chances to shop the Threads collection in Virginia!
There are three chances to shop the Threads collection in person in the D.C. area this holiday season. How will you decide which event to attend? Let me break it down for you.
Saturday, December 1: The first event is hosted by my lovely friend and Threads customer Catrina Moran. She has generously invited a few of her favorite vendors into her home for a holiday open house event. This event will be intimate with plenty of time to catch up, AND you'll get first dibs on the product available. Unfortunately, this particular weekend our collection will be divvied up between Houston and Alexandria. Available in Alexandria will be ALL of our clothes including our t-shirts which make great gifts, along with our new yoga carrier bags and our custom Threads by Nomad ornaments. PLUS you'll get to shop the newest collections from local jewelry designer Ruth Barzel and makeup artist Ky Washington, who will also be offering FREE five-minute makeovers! Saturday, December 8 & Sunday, December 9: This special holiday edition of Connect & Create is a community-driven and creative shopping experience! Each season, we host a event that brings people together and gives them the chance to slow down, make something beautiful, perhaps learn a little something else, and just generally have a great time with great people surrounded by great things! For this event, hosted by the lovely owners of Vikriya Lab, we have gathered together artists of all kinds to help us celebrate the season. Join Threads by Nomad (duh), Ruth Barzel, Knits By Naima, Crafted Stems Design Co., Layers Of Earth and Hope Hurlbrink for a day of shopping handmade creations, art work, wreath-making, oils and crystals, and much more! PLUS: We are providing a free gift wrapping station! Have any and all of your gifts wrapped for you so the package is as pretty as the present! (P.S. We will have ALL of our Threads merchandise in time for this event!) Saturday, December 15: We are so excited to pop up at Park Story, a new semi-permanent boutique in the Mosaic District providing a collection of local and independent brands. We are so looking forward to joining forces with a like-minded business that showcases such beautiful brands! Just ten days before Christmas, we will not only bring our entire clothing selection but will also have gifts, jewelry, holiday decor, home decor, and much more. All to ensure you can check your list twice this year, too! Santa's got nothing on you! For this particular pop-up, we'll be joined by Virginia Dare Dress Co. Fun Fact: Both Virginia Dare and Threads by Nomad launched thanks to successful Kickstarter campaigns in the second half of 2016! We can't wait to partner with these incredible women entrepreneurs!
