#RefugeesWelcome, Part Two
A very style-savvy friend informed me the other day that as long as she's wearing a skirt she feels "dressed up" regardless of the shoes or shirt she has paired with said skirt. I related to that on a very personal level! 🤣 Sneakers, skirt, and tee have become somewhat of a uniform for me this summer. And now I have another t-shirt to add to the mix!
Yesterday, I styled our black crew-neck tee (similarly with a skirt and espadrilles). Today, I'd like to introduce you to our charcoal gray v-neck tee!
What I love most about these t-shirts is the length of the sleeves. They are just long enough to hide what we want to hide while keeping us cool! I also think they are elongating, especially on height-challenged people like me! I'm over super short or capped sleeves for a while. They don't feel nearly as modern or updated.
These t-shirts are nice enough to be dressed up (to a certain extent) as hopefully I showed you yesterday and today. They are great grab-and-go tees, too. They work as well for your favorite yoga class as they do for a trip to the grocery store and perhaps even to work when worn under a loose-fitting blazer.
If you are in or near (or feel like traveling to) Alexandria, VA this weekend, you'll get first dibs on these t-shirts at our storytelling+shopping event on Saturday. We'll even be giving a few of them away to those who attend! But I will post more about the story behind these t-shirts and why they're important when we put them up on our website for everyone to access. They will be $25 apiece and we have them in a variety of sizes. If they sell well, we will just make them a part of our permanent collection.
So, tell me. How would you wear your tee?
