Ways to Wear: The Cropped Sweater

Well, it's here. The final post in the sweater series. I have only two things left to say.

1. A good friend stopped by our event last weekend in Alexandria, VA and tried on our sweaters. She told me that I had done my sweaters and our customers a disservice by not relaying just how soft they are. So, my friends, you must know: our sweaters are soft! Like, REALLY soft. You won't want to take them off.

2. I was so pleased that we sold out of the stock of cropped sweaters we had at this same event. This cropped sweater style is so much more versatile than one might assume.

If you are busty, I would opt for the high-low sweater style instead. But if, like me, you have kiwis instead of melons, the cropped sweater is a must-own. Most of us have issues with our tummies but just because a sweater is cropped does not mean that you are highlighting the area below the hemline. In fact, it gives you MORE opportunities to camouflage it, like I am here by wearing a voluminous blouse under it.

If you're going to get the most out of the clothes you own, it's important to be willing to try things on together that you may never have thought of before.

This cropped sweater is only a VERY distant relative to the 1990s cropped tees that I wore in middle school. In fact, they are so distant they've never even met; they only know of each other! Don't let the style name scare you--try it on at our next event or order it. You can always return it if you're not a fan!

PS. Yes, my hair is now lilac.
