How to Wear: The Crochet Shell, Again

The first time we featured our crochet shell in a head-to-toe styled look a couple of days ago we paired it with our black cotton tank. (You can check that out right here if you missed it.) This time, we went for a more monochromatic look by pairing it with our grey silk tank. The silk yarn stuns against our silk charmeuse tank top which was launched in our initial collection, and while it wasn't intentional the colors are a perfect match.

At our pop up shop this past Friday, a customer asked if we were still carrying our silk tanks since I did not have them showcased on our racks. The answer is, "Yes!" Our tank tops debuted in September of last year and their success was instantaneous! We decided to remake them in cotton for spring and summer, but we carried the original silk version through as well. We have every intention of offering the original silk version as long as our fabric source is able to provide us with the silk!

Of course, you don't have to pair our crochet shell with one of our tanks. It would work well over a black camisole, a white tank top, or even a slip dress! The options are nearly endless. Considering purchasing a custom crochet shell? You can do that right here.

The clothing and shoes that are not part of the Threads by Nomad collection can be found at The Hive (301 Cameron) and The Shoe Hive (127 S. Fairfax) in Alexandria, Virginia.
