This beautiful set was handmade by graduates of the Amani Sasa basket and shelter programs. Your purchase today has provided these artisans access to a safe, living wage in Kampala, Uganda. The nativity characters were created from banana fibres and rafia using craft methods traditional to Uganda. The nativity base was handmade by a basket artisan using rafia and papyrus.
