Article: Popping up in Alexandria this week!

Popping up in Alexandria this week!

When my husband and I moved to the DC area, we landed in Alexandria by chance or divine intervention. Since then, this city and the people in it have played such an important role in our personal lives, professional careers, and in the starting up of Threads by Nomad. Our community is generous and giving, and we love seeing people we know nearly everywhere we go. When a friend opened a seasonal pop-up shop where small brands could showcase their goods on the main shopping street in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, I hoped she would reach out to us. Sure enough, after a successful holiday trial run, she asked to include us in her spring and summer lineup, just in time to showcase our newest collection. I am excited to introduce my friends, colleagues and the Alexandria community to our brand and pieces. We will be fully stocked in sizes in all of the new pieces with a smattering of our first collection available. Mom has sent clutches, pillows, scarves, and dolls as well. You can try it all on, and take it all home if you fall in love!

If you live in the DC area, please pay me a visit at 116 King Street in Alexandria this Friday through Sunday. I will be working the floor all three days and can help you figure out how to wear what we've created and make it work for you. I'm so looking forward to catching up with you, and hopefully meeting a few new faces, too! xoxo Christen
