These holiday ornaments were handmade by women participating in the Sewing Hope program at Refuge and Hope International in Kampala, Uganda.
Refuge and Hope International helps refugees and displaced people rebuild their lives. One of the ways they are accomplishing this is by establishing a sewing training program. Through our parent non-profit, The Off Ramp, we have come alongside them to help develop product, implement quality control, and develop marketing strategies.
These ornaments emerged as one of our first collaborations and we think sewers-in-training did a fantastic job!
