These handcrafted leather cuffs are made from upcycled belts by the women of Collique, Peru. Located just a few miles from Lima, Collique is home to over 100,000 impoverished people who do not have reliable access to water, work or education.
"Collique Cuffs" began as a $5 mission project and has grown into an opportunity for women to be fairly paid to work in a safe environment. It also allows them to provide for their children and gives them access to additional educational and vocational training through Operacion San Adres.
Each cuff has been signed by the artisan who made it!
These Collique Cuffs were made for and purchased by The Off Ramp in support of their mission. Now, when you pick and purchase your favorite, you will support both Collique Cuffs and The Off Ramp, thereby helping to address the issue of displacement through both prevention and relief!
